Fatal Head-On Keyes Hill Road Crash

The Pelham Police, Pelham Fire, and Hudson Fire Departments responded to a head-on collision at 66 Keyes Hill Road on July 19, 2019, at approximately 5:23 pm. 911 advised that one driver was unconscious and trapped in a vehicle. First responders arrived and saw a 2015 Honda Civic sedan and a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500 pickup crashed in the middle of the road. Both vehicles had extensive front end damage.

The driver of the Civic, 31-year-old Joshua Nolette of Hudson, NH was found deceased inside the Honda. His passenger, 23-year-old Amanda Acampara of Manchester, NH was transported to Southern NH Medical Center via Hudson ambulance with serious injuries. The driver of the GMC, 24-year-old Callen Aubrey of Pelham, NH was also transported to Southern NH Medical Center via Pelham ambulance with serious injuries. Acampara and Aubrey are still hospitalized but are expected to make full recoveries.

The Hudson Technical Accident Reconstruction (TAR) unit responded to the crash scene and will complete an accident reconstruction. Corporal Michael Kasiske is still investigating the crash; however, the preliminary investigation indicates that the Honda was driving west toward Hudson and crossed over the double yellow line. The GMC was driving east and witnesses stated it was struck in its lane as it traveled with the flow of traffic.

Acampara was the only person involved in the crash wearing a seat belt. The Pelham Police Department urges everyone who rides in a motor vehicle to buckle up and drive safely.
