For Immediate Release:  July 13, 2019

On July 6, 2019 at 10:57 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 64 year old woman from Atlantic City, was struck as she entered the roadway from the sidewalk in the middle of the block.  She was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious injuries.  

The driver of the vehicle, a 23 year old woman from Upper Darby, PA immediately stopped her vehicle.  

On July 11, the pedestrian died as a result of her injuries.
