Impaired Driver Arrested After Crashing into Parked Car
For Immediate Release: June 20, 2019
On June 18, 2019, a woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after crashing her vehicle into a parked car.
At 4:55 pm, Officers Ryan Mullin and Eric Knuttel responded to the 100 block of Caspian Avenue for a report of a vehicle striking a parked car. The officers arrived to find Deleisha Gadson behind the wheel of her Nissan Altima, and her one year old child in the backseat. Gadson displayed signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested after field sobriety tests were conducted. The child was turned over to a family member and was not injured in the crash.
ARRESTED: Deleisha Gadson, a 38 year old woman from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Endangering the welfare of a child and numerous motor vehicle summons that included DWI, reckless driving, and having an open container of alcohol.
Gadson was released on a summons with a future court date.
