For Immediate Release:  June 12, 2019

The Atlantic City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for her involvement in a shooting that injured a woman.

On April 24, a 25-year old woman was shot in the area of Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues.  An investigation by detectives of the Violent Crimes Unit identified and charged Rashanah Camper and a 16-year old juvenile male for their involvement in the shooting.

The juvenile was arrested by Violent Crimes Unit detectives.  Camper is wanted by this department and has not been arrested. 

WANTED:  Rashanah Camper, a 25 year old woman from Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

ARRESTED:  A 16 year old juvenile male from Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

The juvenile was remanded to the Harborfields Detention Facility.
