MEDIA RELEASE

May 25, 2019

On May 25, 2019, at approximately 11:20 AM District 2 Officers responded to 3424 Edwards Rd for a report of a Bank Robbery at the US Bank.  A White Male, 51 years of age, 6’ tall and 195 pounds, wearing a black Polo shirt and black pants entered the bank, approached the teller, and attempted withdraw money from a closed account. After being denied, the suspect jumped over the counter, took the tellers keys and attempted to remove money from the locked teller drawers.  No weapon was mentioned or seen.  The suspect exited the bank with the teller’s keys and fled on foot across parking lot.

Arrested was Matthew A. Seta, White, Male, 51 years of age and charged with one count of Robbery.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Financial Crimes Squad is on-going.   Anyone with information about this bank robbery is asked to call the Financial Crimes Squad at (513) 352-3542.
