For Immediate Release:  April 26, 2019

Today, the Atlantic City Police Department elevated 18 Special Law Enforcement, Class II officers to Police Officer.  The newly hired were sworn in at a ceremony in the Henry E. “Hank” Tyner Memorial Council Chambers at City Hall.  We congratulate the officers and their families on this special accomplishment.  The new police officers will be assigned to the Operations Division.

The elevation of these officers was made possible by a grant from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA).
