For Immediate Release:  February 15, 2019

On February 15, 2019, detectives of the department’s Special Investigations Section executed a residential search warrant in the north block of Born Terrace.  The target of the investigation, Levine Dickerson, was arrested during the warrant.  Inside the residence, detectives recovered two loaded handguns, 66 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $2,947 in cash.  One of the handguns had been reported stolen in Georgia.      

The search warrant was a result of an investigation by Detective Nicholas Berardis.

ARRESTED:  Levine Dickerson, a 38 year old male from Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, certain person not to possess a weapon, receiving stolen property, possession of a high-capacity magazine, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Dickerson was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
