For Immediate Release: February 14, 2019

On February 14, 2019, a suspect wanted for shooting a man at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia.

Emory Chapman was taken into custody by members of the FBI Task Force in Atlanta.  He was in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest.

Chapman was wanted following an investigation conducted by detectives of the Violent Crimes Unit into a shooting that occurred on February 3, 2019.

ARRESTED:  Emery Chapman, a 39 year old male from Pleasantville, NJ.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
