The Fridley Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident in the 6100 block of 5th St NE.  One party was injured and transported to the hospital.  Currently there is no danger to public safety.  5th St NE will remain closed from 61st Ave NE to 63rd Ave NE while crime scene investigators process the scene.
