MEDIA RELEASE

December 31, 2018

On December 31, 2018, at approximately 10:03 AM, District 3 Officers responded to investigate a person shot at 3627 McHenry Avenue.  The victim was transported to the University Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

The victim was identified as Deshawn Phillips, 29 years of age.  There is no suspect information to release at this time.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is on-going.   Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.
