Please see the below background on an active incident being handled by Cambridge Fire, Inspectional Services, Cambridge Police Traffic and Eversource. 

Due to an electrical problem at a hardware store located at 1337 Cambridge Street, power was shut down in the area. Many Inman Square businesses are expected to be without power until the electrical issue is resolved. Traffic units have Cambridge Street between Springfield and Prospect Street closed as the investigation continues.
