Cincinnati Police Department District 2 investigated separate reports of Robbery and Breaking and Entering that occurred in the 6200 block of Montgomery Road. A suspect was located and arrested by these officers approximately 25 minutes later.

The Breaking and Entering happened on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at 10:35 PM. The Robbery occurred a short time later.

District 2 officers initially responded to investigate the Breaking and Entering call. On arrival, they found the front door of a business had been shattered and the business itself had been entered. Money had been taken in this offense.

Shortly thereafter, District 2 officers responded for a Robbery in the same area. In this case, the glass front door had been shattered by a suspect who entered the business, confronted an employee, and then stole money. The employee was not hurt.

Using the suspect description from the Robbery, investigating officers located Mr. Gregory Sims, 61, of Kennedy Heights. He was charged with Robbery, Breaking and Entering, and two other lesser charges.
