On November 18th, 2018 at approximately 7:16 AM, members of the Vineland Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit were dispatched to the area of East Wheat Road and North Main Road in regards to a one vehicle crash with life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2009 Hyundai Sonata operated by John Ganci, age 88 of Minotola, was traveling westbound on East Wheat Road and crossing over North Main Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree located on the northern road edge of East Wheat Road.

Ganci was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing and Officer Agustin Santiago of the Traffic Safety Unit is the lead investigator.
