Today, Mayor Mike Spano and Yonkers Police Commissioner Charles Gardner promoted one Sergeant to the rank of Lieutenant and four Police Officers to the rank of Sergeant, and designated one Sergeant as Detective Sergeant.  Six Police Officers were recognized for completing the police training required by New York State and eight Officers were acknowledged for prior appointments.    

Police Commissioner Charles Gardner stated, “Congratulations to all of those honored today, and thank you for your service and dedication to the residents of Yonkers.”
