Feel good story for the day (pics & video):
On Saturday, June 23rd, 2018, at approximately 8:30 AM, a good Samaritan was walking her dog and came upon a stranded kitten down in a sewer crying for help in the area of 276 Riverdale Avenue. Members of the 3rd Precinct and Emergency Service Unit responded. ESU Officers Jamie Molina and Anthony Alaimo suited up and executed a plan to rescue the kitten. The lucky feline was brought to safety and is currently at the Yonkers Animal Shelter receiving attention.
