The City of Allentown Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of police officer beginning May 1, 2018 through July 31, 2018.

The City of Allentown is the third largest city in Pennsylvania with a population of over 118,000 residents and home to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and the Lehigh Valley  Phantoms.  With a budgeted strength of 228 officers, staffing over 20 specialty divisions such as the Emergency Response Team, Criminal Investigations Division, K-9 unit, Vice Unit, Traffic Division, and Crime Scene Unit, as well as many more.  

Salaries start at $57,317 and max in three years at $76,364.

Applications will be accepted May 1, 2018 until July 31, 2018.
