Male Charged in Shots Fired Investigation

On March 28, 2018, a male was arrested and charged after an
investigation into gunshots being fired.
On March 20 at 5:09 pm, patrol officers responded to the 200
block of North Tennessee Avenue for reports of gunfire. Officers arrived to find several shell
casings. The intended target of the
shooting was not injured. An
investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to charges being filed against
Chreshull Rucker.
Rucker was arrested by Officers Christian Ivanov and Daniel
Arra in the 300 block of North Kentucky Avenue.
ARRESTED: Chreshull
Rucker, a 28 year old male from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Aggravated
assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of
a weapon, and certain person not to possess a weapon.
Rucker was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
