* Serious Injury Traffic Crash Investigation *

***On Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1844 hours, Ms. Ann Zeff succumbed to her injuries from the Traffic Crash on Sunday, September 24, 2017.***                                                                      

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, at approximately 1205 hours, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 2470 Madison Road to investigate a serious injury traffic crash. 

Ms. Antoinette Thompson, F/36, was operating a 2014 silver Dodge Avenger west on Madison Road.  Ms. Ann Zeff, F/80, a pedestrian, was crossing north on Madison Road. Ms. Zeff was not in a crosswalk. Ms. Thompson struck Ms. Zeff with her vehicle.

Ms. Zeff sustained serious injuries and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she is in serious condition.

Ms. Thompson was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured.  

Excessive speed and impairment are not factors in this crash.

The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
