     * Serious Traffic Crash Investigation *

On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at approximately 0930 hours, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 1201 Lincoln Avenue to investigate a serious auto accident.

A 2015 gold Ford Fusion driven by Mr. Adriel Holloway, M/29 was traveling west on Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Holloway attempted to leave the scene, but was stopped by citizens. The passenger in the vehicle, Mr. Ariyonte Holloway, M/10 suffered life threatening injuries.

Mr. Adriel Holloway was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by the Cincinnati Fire Department where he is listed in fair condition.

Mr. Ariyonte Holloway was transported to Children’s Hospital by the Cincinnati Fire Department where he is listed in critical condition.

Excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in the crash.

The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
