       Homicide Unit Investigation  

On July 24, 2017, at approximately 11:31am, District 5 Officers responded to the 4510 Colerain Avenue to investigate a report of a person stabbed.  First responders located the victim, performed lifesaving measures, but he succumbed to his injuries.  The victim has been identified as Michael Brooks, a male black born 1/15/1980.  There is no suspect information to release at this time.  The Homicide Unit investigation is ongoing.

***UPDATE***

On July 25, 2017, Homicide Unit investigators signed a murder warrant for the arrest of Terry Jones (born 4/28/1975).  With assistance from the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Terry Jones was located and arrested in Dayton, Kentucky.
