On May 26th, 2017 at approximately 11:46AM, Starley Chrystal Baez (42) was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine after a Search Warrant was executed at her residence, in the 53000 block of County Road 9, in Elkhart, Indiana. Starley Chrystal Baez was incarcerated for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Precursors; both are felonies.

On 5/26/2017 around 1:00PM, Daniel Fred (33) was stopped in the area of County Road 17 and Verdant Drive for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, Daniel Fred was found to have never received a driver's license and was also found to be a Habitual Traffic Violator for Life. Daniel Fred was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while being a Habitual Traffic Violator- Life, a felony, Never Receiving a License- Prior, a misdemeanor, and for an unrelated arrest warrant.

On 5/26/17 at 7:19PM, Pablo Mendez (47) was stopped for a traffic violation on SR 13 south of CR 44 and was found to be driving without ever receiving a license and was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.

Between 10:30am Friday May 26, 2017 and 03:30pm Saturday May 27, 2017, it was reported a suspect forced entry into a storage unit located in the 52000 block of CR 9 and stole a 2007 Honda Shadow motorcycle, various hand power tools, crossbow, box of ammunition, and a small safe.

On 5/27/2017 at approximately 4:45pm on 5/27/2017 it was reported the license plate was stolen from a red 2004 Ford F250 while it was parked in a private drive east of CR 7 south of CR 6, Elkhart. The theft occurred sometime between 1:30pm and 4:45pm 5/27/2017. Elkhart County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating.

On 5/28/2017 at approximately 10:09am a burglary to storage units was reported in the 52000 block of CR 9, Elkhart. At this time it is unknown what was taken. The burglary occurred sometime prior to 10:00am 5/28/ 2017On Elkhart County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating.

On 5/28/2017 at 11:15PM, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of loud juveniles located in the 27000 block of CR 24. Michael Goodman, 20 and Kati Quiggle, 20, were found to be illegally consuming an alcoholic beverage and were cited and released from the scene to appear in Magistrate Court on 7/7/2017 at 8:30AM. Kayla McMillan, 22, was found to be in possession of cocaine and was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Correctional Complex for possession of cocaine-felony.

On 5/28/2017 at approximately 11:30PM, Sheriff Deputies arrived at a residence in the 54000 block of Hastings St in reference to attempting to locate Ieshea Bryant, 34, who had two valid Elkhart County felony warrants for her arrest. Ieshea Bryant was located in a camper in the back yard of the residence of which belonged to Jesse Collins, 49. Once inside the camper drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view, and a search warrant was obtained for the residence. Jesse Collins and Ieshea Bryant were both found to be in possession of methamphetamine, multiple syringes, and drug paraphernalia. Jesse Collins and Ieshea Bryant were incarcerated at the Elkhart County Correctional Complex for Possession of Methamphetamine - Felony, Illegal possession of a Hypodermic Needle - Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Misdemeanor.

On May 29. 2017 at 6:45pm Ashley Adkins (31), resisted law enforcement during the service of a felony arrest warrant and was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail after a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 26000 block of Hallie Rd, Elkhart Indiana,

On 05/30/2017 at 4:14 AM, Victoria Pollitt, 39, was stopped for a speeding violation on CR 29 north of US 6. During the investigation of the speeding violation, it was discovered that Victoria Pollitt was a Habitual Traffic Violator. Victoria Pollitt was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail on charges of Operating a Vehicle while a Habitual Traffic Violator.
