On 05/13/2017, a theft from auto was reported at the Hampton
Inn between 05/12/2017 at 10 PM and 730am on 5/13/17. Lydon’s white Chevy Tahoe
was parked in the rear parking lot of the Hampton Inn and the following items were
stolen:
(1) Valentine 1 radar detector $450.00 ; (1) Trailer backup
camera $450.00; charging cables $50.00; (1) pair of headphones $75.00; (1)
Temperature reading gun $100.00; (1) prescription glasses $250.00
(1) DAC Amp $175.00 ; (1) Black View dash camera $180.00; (1)
Northface Jacket $250.00; (1) Ram Go pro Mount $100.00 Total Value: $2,080.00
Lydon believed he had locked the vehicle but there was no
evidence of forced entry.

A possible fraud was reported at N.B. and Sons machine shop.
Owner Michael Berezin reported he received a telephone call from a male subject
who identified himself as John Matthews, an employee for Vineland Electric. The
subject claimed he was trying to collect an outstanding bill of $498.12 from
Berezin and he could make payment via a money pact. Berezin stated he wasn’t
behind on his payments and questioned why he couldn’t make payment at city
hall, the subject said the computer system was down. A telephone number was
provided (1-800-416-3070 x101). When told he was contacting the police, the
subject hung up. During this investigation, above listed number was called and a
female voice message states ' Thank you for calling Vineland City
Electric.' When you enter extension 101,
a male subject answered and identified himself as John Mathews. While talking
to this subject, he began cursing and hung up.

On May 20, 2017, a theft from auto was reported at 1047 New
Pear Street. Deysi Garcia (Victim #1) reported an unknown actor(s) entered her 2005
Nissan Altima and stole cash, credit cards along with debit cards that were
located inside the glove box. Reported stolen were the following: $50.00 in
cash, a Bank of America Visa debit card; Bank of America Visa credit card; A
Bank of America Visa debit card along with a Bank of America Visa credit card
owned by Fabiola Garcia-Sosa (Victim #2); a TD Bank Visa debit card owned by Henry
Garcia (Victim #3). Victim believed the vehicle was secured but no indications
of forced entry were noticed.

Franco received a phone call from PNC bank inquiring about an ATM withdrawal
for $500.00 in New Brunswick, NJ. Franco
explained he had never been in New Brunswick and he currently was in possession
of his ATM card. The bank informed him that someone used his ATM card to
withdrawal $500.00 out of his checking account and they believed that his
information had been captured by a "skimming" device. He wasn’t certain where his information was
stolen from and did not remember anything unusual about any purchases or ATM
withdrawals. He also advised that his Pay Pal account was also hacked a few
weeks ago and $337.98 was withdrawn from that account to pay for merchandise
ordered over the internet.
