Socrates Rodriguez reported a theft from auto between 730pm on 4/27/17 and 5am on 4/28/17 in which his vehicle’s radio, approximately $20.00 in coins and the vehicle’s registration and insurance card were taken from his vehicle, a 1996 Mazda pickup. ​

Employees from Acme reported a shoplifting by an unknown black female approx 40 yrs old, 225 lbs.              The suspect attempted to push a cart loaded with various items of food out of the store without paying for the items. Employees followed her and she left the cart in the parking lot, got into a black vehicle and fled the area. The total value of items shoplifted is $384.29.

SYNOPSIS:

On April 18, 2017, a criminal mischief report was filed by Seren Industrial Power Systems Incorporated  and Compass Wire Cloth Corporation. Unknown subject threw roofing nails onto the entrance ways to both business driveways, causing damage to numerous tires.  Investigation revealed Peter Higginson had been terminated by both businesses several years prior and admitted throwing the nails onto the driveways. He was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, processed on summons complaints and released pending court.

Ryan Hope was arrested after police witnessed him punch his neighbor after a verbal argument. Hope then ran from police before being apprehended behind several houses in the area. ​He was held on a warrant complaint and turned over to Cumberland County Jail.

 On 05/05/2017, Officers were dispatched to 2100 Maurice River Pkwy for a report of a burglary. No subjects were located inside the residence. Outside behind the residence, a pair of tree loppers was located. The loppers had come from the victim’s garage. The victim also noticed a tofu container which contained approx.. $5.00 change was missing.
