       Homicide Unit Investigation  

On April 2, 2017, at approximately 8:20 pm, District 5 Officer responded to 5816 Shadymist Lane to investigate a reported shooting.  First responders located two shooting victims.  Both victims were transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital.  The first victim had non-life threatening injuries, however the second victim was pronounced dead upon arrival. 

The deceased victim has been identified as Tyler Lee, a male black born 9/23/1993.  The name of the second shooting victim is being withheld. 

The suspect was detained and questioned by Homicide Unit investigators.  No charges were filed pending further investigation.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is on-going.
