The above victim reported the theft of a 22 caliber rifle from his property. He indicated that he last used it in September 2016 and hadn’t seen it since then. Reported stolen-  Marlin model 981T 22 caliber rifle with a black synthetic stock and a Simmons scope Value: $250.00. The stolen rifle was entered NCIC.

The above subject reported he was the victim of a scam. Lush received a phone call on his cell phone indicating his computer needed to be serviced. He uses a service with Dell and at times his computer needs to be serviced. He was instructed to obtain Apple iTunes gift cards as his computer was compromised and he should not type in a credit card number. The victim picked up two itunes cards for $150.00 total, scanned them into his computer and gave the actor permission to remotely enter his computer. Lush stated the subject was supposed to protect and update his computer. The screen appeared to be from Dell’s website; however, the computer was not updated or protected. Lush realized it was a scam when the subject never contacted him after that.

On 01/29/2017, the Boost Mobile store inside the Cumberland Mall reported a shoplifting incident that occurred on 01/27/2017. Three young black male juveniles were in the store in the early afternoon and one of them took an HTC Bolt cell phone off the counter. Taken was a Silver/gunmetal colored HTC Bolt valued at $399.99.
