Seeking the Public's Assistance in Identifying a Robbery Suspect
For Immediate Release:
December 27, 2016
On December 26, 2016, patrol officers responded
to the AC Convenience Store for a report of a an armed robbery. We are asking for the public's assistance in
identifying the suspect.
At 4:31 pm, officers responded to the store in
the 4000 block of Ventnor Avenue. A Hispanic
male suspect entered the store wearing a mask, removed what the clerk believed
to be a handgun from a bag, and demanded the money from the cash register.
The clerk grabbed the gun from the suspect and
realized it was a BB gun. The suspect
removed his mask and tried to pretend that he was playing a joke on the
clerk. The suspect then fled the store.
We are asking for the public's assistance in
identifying the suspect. We believe he
may work or reside in the area and his name may be Ed or Eddie.

the identity of the suspect is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police
