(Palestine, TX) – A narcotics investigation by the Palestine Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) lead to the execution of three search warrants and multiple arrests over this past weekend.

On November 5, 2016, Richard Black, 29, of Palestine, was arrested in the 400 block of W. Green St. after a search warrant at that location resulted in the seizure of approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.  Black was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance between 4 and 200 grams and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.

On November 6, 2016, Aaron Blagg, 30, of Palestine, was arrested in the 100 block of Sequoia Dr. after a search warrant at that location resulted in the seizure of approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine.   Blagg’s girlfriend, Kayla Wilson, 27, of Palestine, was also arrested at the location.  Both Blagg and Wilson were charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance between 4 and 200 grams, as well as Endangerment of a Child.

On November 6, 2016, Israel De La Rosa, 23, of Palestine, and Jennifer Worrell, 22, of Palestine, were arrested in the 300 block of Ross St. after a search warrant at that location resulted in the seizure of just under 1 gram of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.  Both De La Rosa and Worrell were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Less than 1 gram and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.

All told, the investigation resulted in the seizure of 40 grams of methamphetamine, $8000 in currency, and two firearms.  This case is still being actively investigated by the Palestine Police Department.
