On 9/7/2016 at 12:43 PM, the Vineland Police Department investigated a crash ( case # 55628) that occurred on Dante Ave and Panther Rd. A car being driven by Frank Pruno, 81years old, of Vineland, NJ was traveling West on Dante Ave and it struck another vehicle being driven by Brian L. Turner, 54 yrs old, of Vineland, NJ Turner complained of pain and was transported to Inspira Medical Center by Vineland EMS.

A passenger in Pruno’s vehicle was Mary Viani, 92 yrs old, of Vineland, NJ. Viani complained of pain and was transported to Inspira Medical Center by Vineland EMS for further treatment. While being treated, Viani’s condition worsened, and as a result, she was transported to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on 9/8/2016. The crash investigation is ongoing
