On August 17, 2016, at approximately 1:37 a.m., a fatal motor vehicle crash occurred on West Oak Road in the area of Sarah Place.

A 2015 Mack truck driven by Angel Molina of Hammonton NJ, was traveling eastbound on Oak Road when the vehicle struck a bicyclist, who was riding eastbound on Oak Road.   

The bicyclist, Melissa Gravatt, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cooper trauma Center in Camden, where she later succumbed to the injuries.

This motor vehicle crash is being investigated by Officer Ron DeMarchi of the Vineland Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit. No motor vehicle summonses have been issued at this time. Charges are pending further investigation.
