(VICTORIA, TX) Victoria Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit, along with the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force arrested 32 year old Alex James Partida who police believe is responsible for Saturday’s bank robbery at Prosperity Bank.

On Saturday, July 9, 2016, just before 1:00 pm, a Hispanic male dressed as a woman entered the Prosperity Bank located at 1206 N. John Stockbauer and handed the teller a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, he left in an unknown direction of travel.

A joint investigation by the Victoria Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service led to his arrest this morning. Investigators apprehended Partida, without incident, in the 4900 block of N. Navarro Street.  Partida was taken into custody and transported to the Victoria County Jail where he was booked in for Aggravated Robbery.
