Driver #2: Unknown (Hit and Run)
Driver #1 stated he was stopped in traffic on Delsea Dr. facing northbound when he was struck in the rear by vehicle #2. Driver #1 stated he as well as Driver #2 exited the vehicle to check the damage. He stated Driver #2 stated he did not see any damage at which time he drove off even after being advised by Driver #1 that the police were being called. Driver #1 described Driver #2 as a black male approximately 35 to 40 years of age wearing a white t-shirt. He described the vehicle as a 4Dr. grey in color vehicle which he believed to be a Nissan. Driver #1 provided a possible registration of NJ REG#YNU20. Driver #1 stated vehicle #2 has damage to the front grill. Driver #1 was treated at the scene by EMS for complaint of pain to his neck. Trinity Banes who was a passenger of vehicle #1 was also treated by EMS at the scene for neck pain. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the rear bumper and was driver from the scene. A DMV lookup of YNU20P revealed the registration belonged to a grey in color 2008 Kia Optima registered to Gaynell Pettit 0f 139 Marl Rd. in Harrisonville NJ. I was able to locate a contact number for Pettit (856-371-8241) at which time I spoke with her son William Pettit. William stated he has power of attorney over Gaynell. He related she does not drive and the vehicle in question is driven by his son William Pettit Jr. While speaking with William he indicated his son as a white male. William provided this Officer with a contact number for his son (856-217-9097). I then made contacted with William Pettit Jr. (130 Pamphylia Ave. #192 Bridgeton NJ/DOB 4-18-80) who related the following. William stated he lent his vehicle out to a black male subject he only knew as Vince. He was unable to provide any additional information about Vince. William stated when the vehicle was returned to him he observed damage to the front grill. He stated Vince informed him that someone must have backed into his vehicle while at the store causing the damage to the front grill. William was advised to contact this department if any additional information is gained on Vince. Investigation to continue upon identifying Vince.

Driver 1 stated at the scene she was traveling East on Sherman Ave. in the inside lane and was stopped behind a vehicle waiting to turn left. She stated she looked in her mirror to check traffic behind her and did not see anyone so she went to change lanes to go around the vehicle. She stated when she did she struck the side of vehicle 2 which was passing in the outside lane at the time. Driver 1 was not injured as a result of the collision. Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the right front fender, bumper and headlight but was able to be driven from the scene. Driver 2 stated she was traveling East on Sherman Ave in the outside lane and vehicle 1 changed lanes in front of her and side swiped the side of her vehicle. Driver 2 was not injured as a result of the collision. Vehicle 2 sustained damage to the driver’s side doors but was able to be driven from the scene.
No summons issued.

Details: Driver#1 stated she was traveling south on Spring Road when she attempted to make a left turn east bound on Landis Avenue. Driver#1 stated she was unsure if she had the green light while attempting to make the left turn colliding with Driver#2 who was traveling west bound on Landis Avenue. Driver#2 stated she was traveling west bound on Landis Avenue when Driver#1 ran the red light at the intersection of Spring Road causing the collision. Driver#2 stated she had the green light west bound and was not injured. Driver#2 also provided me with information on a witness that had left prior to my arrival. An attempt to contact that witness was negative at this time. Moderate damage to both vehicles and were towed from the scene. No reported injuries. No summons were issued.

Driver 1 stated she was on the westbound, northern, side of Landis Avenue backing from a parking stall. She stated she made an illegal U-Turn, crossing the double yellow painted center line, and crashed into Vehicle 2. Driver 1 was issued summons 0614-VC-11341 for Improper U-Turn, 39:4-125. Driver 2 stated he was east on Landis Avenue approaching the intersection of 7th Street when Vehicle 1 made a U-Turn causing a crash. The MVR in my low profile Vineland Police Traffic Unit patrol vehicle, T5, a 2011 grey Dodge Charger was recording for the duration of the call.

Owner of vehicle #2: Daniel Diniglio 25 of N. Valley Ave.
Responded to 4281 S. Lincoln Ave. (Rt. 55 Storage) in regards to a "hit and run” collision. Upon arrival I spoke to (owner) of vehicle # 2 who stated he parked his personal vehicle (# 2) in the parking lot at approx. 8:30 AM and left the area in his work truck (U-Haul). Owner # 2 stated he was contacted (at 2:50 PM) by an employee in the office (witness) who advised him that she saw a vehicle strike his and leave the scene. I then spoke to (witness) Devon HEMSLEY (W-F-32) who stated she was outside of the office, and observed a vehicle (vehicle # 1) pull into the parking lot, and park next to vehicle # 2. HEMSLEY stated after several minutes vehicle # 2 backed out of the parking space, striking vehicle # 1 in the process. HEMSLEY stated the vehicle was a white in color Mercury "Mountaineer", 4 door, bearing NJ REG # XBZW95. HEMSLEY stated the vehicle was being driven by a white, or Spanish female, mid 20's, with two-tone hair (black/"blondish" brown). HEMSLEY stated the driver, did not enter the storage area, and she stated that she has never seen the vehicle at the business in the past. A DMV check of the tag given came back to Desiree CAUSEY-DEMPSEY (22 year old female) from 326 Oak St. East, Millville. I showed HEMSLEY a DMV photograph of the registered owner, and she immediately stated "yes, that's her", and commented on her hair still being the same two-tone color. I contacted Millville PD in an attempt to locate the vehicle, with negative results at this time. I issued the registered owner (driver # 1) the following Summons: 1) Careless Driving, 39:4-97, Summons # VC-008807 (due to amount of damage) 2) Leaving The Scene, 39:4-129B, Summons # VC-008808 3) Uninsured, 39:6B.2, Summons # VC-008809 (due to being unable to obtain information)

Driver #1 stated she was traveling north bound on South Delsea Drive and the vehicles in front of her were all slowing. She stated she attempted to stop however was not able to go anywhere but into vehicle #2. Driver #1 claimed to have no injuries. I observed minor front end damage.
Driver #2 stated he was traveling north bound on South Delsea Drive when vehicle #1 struck his vehicle in the rear. Driver #2 claimed to have no injuries. I observed damage to the rear bumper of vehicle #2.
Note: My BWC was activated during the incident. No other officers were with MVR and/or BWC on scene.

Driver #1 stated she was traveling west bound on Sherman Avenue in the middle lane, and had both green lights at the Boulevard. She stated another vehicle was in her blind spot and she didn’t see vehicle #2. She stated vehicle #2 came out of nowhere and she struck vehicle #2. Driver #1 claimed to have no injuries. Vehicle #1 had damage to the front passenger side corner panel.
Driver #2 stated he was traveling east bound on Sherman Avenue making the left turn onto Southwest Boulevard, north bound. He stated after he was in the turn he noticed vehicle #1 was traveling fast west bound on Sherman Avenue and struck the rear passenger side of his vehicle. Driver #2 along with both of his passengers claimed to have no injuries. Vehicle #2 had minor damage to the rear passenger side bumper.
Note: My BWC was activated during the incident. No other officers were with MVR and/or BWC on scene.

Driver#1 stated that while traveling eastbound on W. Park Avenue he traveled through the traffic and was struck by Vehicle#2. Driver#1 claimed no injuries on scene. Vehicle#1 was towed from the scene by Speedy's Towing. Driver# 2 stated while traveling northbound on N. West Avenue she traveled through a green traffic signal as Vehicle#2 "ran the red light." Driver#2 had 2 juvenile occupants in the vehicle as 1 juvenile was taken to Inspira Medical Center for leg pain. Vehicle# 2 was removed from the roadway by Caldero's Towing. Witness#1 (Natalie Napier) stated that this incident was captured on video surveillance from 71 W. Park Avenue (Vineland Construction). After reviewing the video surveillance Witness#1 stated that it appears that Vehicle#1 was originally going to make a left to travel southbound on N. West Avenue and at the last minute decided to go straight through the red light. The video surveillance will be placed onto disk and brought to the police station as evidence according to the witness. This Officer did not witness this crash. Driver#1 was issued the following summons at the scene: VC-009555 39:4-81 Red Light Violation VC-009554 39:3-10 Unlicensed Driver Weather: Clear / Dry / 75 Degree Farenheit / Traffic medium.

On 6/10/2016 I was dispatched the area of East Landis Avenue and Seventh Street in regards to a two vehicle collision with no reported injuries.
Upon my arrival I spoke with Driver #1 who stated the following: Driver #1 explained she was backing out of a parking stall on East Landis Avenue. Driver #1 said while backing, she looked both ways for oncoming traffic, but did not see any. Driver #1 advised she continued backing, and observed an oncoming vehicle. Driver #1 stated when she observed the oncoming vehicle she panicked, and moved her foot to hit the brake pedal.
Driver #1 said her foot slipped, and she hit the acceleration pedal. Driver #1 advised when she hot the acceleration pedal, she continued backing until she struck vehicle #2. Driver #1 had a complaint of pain to the neck, and EMS was called to the scene. Driver #1 declined medical attention to the scene. Note: Vehicle #2 was parked, and unoccupied at the time of the collision. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the rear bumper portion of the vehicle and was towed from the scene by Williams Towing. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the rear bumper portion and was driven from the scene by the owner. On scene I spoke to witness #1 who stated he was traveling west on Landis Avenue when he observed the collision. Witness #1 explained vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking stall, but did not stop. Witness #1 advised since vehicle #1 did not stop it continued backing, and struck the rear of vehicle #2. No summonses issued

Driver #1 stated he was at the stop sign on N Fourth St at the intersection of W Park Ave. Driver #1 advised he had his right turn signal on to make a right hand turn to proceed west bound on W Park Ave. Driver #1 observed Vehicle #2 traveling westbound on W Park Ave from NW Blvd. He stated Driver #2 had her right turn signal on and began to slow down as she approached N Fourth St. Driver #1 stated he believed Driver #2 was going to make a right hand turn on N Fourth St. Once Driver #1 began to make a right hand turn he struck Vehicle #2 on the passenger side front quarter panel.
Driver #1 claimed no injuries. Vehicle #1 suffered minor damage on the front bumper. Vehicle #1 was able to be driven from the scene.
Driver #2 stated she was traveling west bound on W Park Ave towards N Fourth St. Driver #2 stated she was in the far right lane traveling west bound. Driver #2 advised once she approached the intersection of N Fourth St she was struck by Vehicle #1. Driver #2 stated she did not have her right turn signal on.
Driver #2 had complaint of pain to her neck. She was transported to IHN by Vineland EMS. Vehicle #2 suffered heavy damage to her front passenger side quarter panel. Vehicle #2 was towed by Speedy’s.
Witness #1 stated she was traveling west bound on W Park Ave behind Vehicle #2. Witness #1 stated once Vehicle #2 was approaching N Fourth St her right turn signal was on. Witness #1 stated she observed Vehicle #2 apply her brakes and slow down. Witness #1 advised once Vehicle #2 approached the intersection she was struck by Vehicle #1.
Driver #1 was issued a summons for 39:4-144 Failure to stop (0614-VC-010315)

On 06/10/2016 I was dispatched to the area of North Main Road and East Park Avenue in regards to a motor vehicle collision with no reported injuries. Upon my arrival I spoke to Driver #2 who stated the following: Driver #2 explained she was stopped at the red light on North Main Road and East Park Avenue. Driver #2 informed me that once the light turned green her vehicle was struck by Vehicle #1 in the rear. Driver #2 had a complaint of pain and EMS was called to the scene. Driver #2 declined medical attention at the scene. I also spoke with Driver #1 who stated she was stopped behind Vehicle #2 at the red light on North Main Road and East Park Avenue. Driver #1 advised while stopped, she looked down to tuck her show laces in. Driver #1 stated the traffic light turned green, and she began moving forward and struck vehicle #2 in the rear. Driver #1 did not have a complaint of pain. Vehicle #1 had minor damage to the front bumper and was left at the scene by the driver.
