On 05/01/2016, officers were dispatched to Sears Roebuck at 8 W Landis Ave in regards to a shoplifter in custody by the store security. The accused was identified as Daniel Malloy, (B-M-56).

Store security observed Malloy via surveillance cameras, concealing various merchandise in his jacket.

Security approached Malloy and had him retrieve the stolen items from inside his jacket, and turn the items over to store security.

Items stolen: Various miscellaneous merchandise with a total value of $89.05 (receipt attached).

At headquarters, Malloy was processed on the shoplifting charge.

Malloy also had an outstanding warrant with bail set at $550.00. Malloy was processed and was transported to Cumberland County Jail in lieu of bail.

Accused: Daniel Evans    (DOB: 1/16/88)    68 W. Main Street Alloway, NJ

DETAILS:

On May 1, 2016 officers were dispatched to 3849 S. Delsea Drive (Home Depot) regarding a shoplifter in custody. 

Loss Prevention Officers witnessed the accused, Daniel Evans, concealing a Dewalt Turbo Nozzle valued at $51.36 in a sprinkler head box that he was going to purchase. Once security observed Evans concealing the item, he was approached and detained in the security office to await police arrival.

Evans was processed and released on a summons for the shoplifting charge.
