Case# 2016-25504

Location: 1163 E Chestnut Avenue, Vineland NJ (CVS)

Incident Type: Shoplifting

Victim: CVS

Accused:  Saunderlin, Kimberly 1300 block of Old Lake Road, Vineland NJ (W/F/33)

Details:  On Saturday April 30th, 2016 I was dispatched to 1163 E Chestnut Avenue (CVS) in regards to a shoplifting complaint. 

Upon my arrival I met with Loss Prevention Officer had a white female identified as Kimberly Saunderlin in custody. The Loss prevention officer related that Saunderlin was observed wandering around the store with an oversized purse and observed Saunderlin placing personal hygiene items in her purse. 

The police were notified and once officer(s) arrived at the store Saunderlin was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and the following items were recovered from her purse, 4 containers of Dove soap valued at $8.99 each and 2 containers of Neutrogena soap valued at $7.99 each, totaling $51.94.

Saunderlin was transported to Police Headquarters and was issued a summons for shoplifting.

 An outstanding warrant issued by the Vineland Municipal Court for Saunderlin was also located and she was processed and bail was set at $1,501.00. 

Saunderlin was processed and taken to the Cumberland County Jail.

Location: 398 Smith Street, Vineland NJ (Holiday Inn Express)

Incident date/time: Thursday April 28th, 11pm- Friday April 29th, 07:00am

Incident Type: Theft of Motor Vehicle

Details:  On Friday April 29th, 2016 officer(s)I were dispatched to 398 Smith Street in regards to a theft of a motorcycle.

The victim reported that he had multiple motorcycles on a utility trailer and one of the motorcycles was stolen during the night. The motorcycle was described as a blue and white, 2013 Yamaha TTR110, 2 wheel motorcycle,

The owner of the motorcycle related that he parked his truck & trailer in a portion of the parking lot located at the east end of the hotel.  The owner said he picked this portion of the parking lot because it is secluded and he figured no one would see the bikes on the trailer. 

The theft was discovered around 7:00 am when he exited the hotel and approached the truck and immediately noticed that the 2013, white and blue in color, Yamaha TTR110 2 wheel motorcycle was missing from trailer. The stolen motorcycle is valued at $3,200.00.

On April 30, 2016, @ 7:53pm Bridgeton Police Dept. reported that the motorcycle was involved in a collision with a parked vehicle on Maple Drive and Birch Street in the city of Bridgeton. 

The operator of the motorcycle was injured in the collision and was flown to Cooper Hospital for a serious leg injury.

Charges were filed by Bridgeton Police against the operator of the motorcycle, (21 yr. old) Anthony Gary Jr. of the 100 block of S. Ease Ave., Bridgeton for receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

Bridgeton Police Department impounded the motorcycle pending notification of the owner of the motorcycle.
