Two Males Arrested for Stabbing
On December 31, 2015 at 12:58am, uniformed officers responded to New York and Pacific Avenues in reference to a male stabbed.
Officer George King located Dale Miller, a 34 year old Atlantic City resident, with a stab wound to his torso. Mr. Miller was able to provide Officer King with the description of two male suspects that he got into an altercation with before being stabbed. He was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for a non-life threatening injury.
Officer King broadcast the descriptions of the two suspects to responding officers. Within minutes, Officer Bryan O’Neill and Officer Robert Toscano located two males fitting the suspect’s description in the 1500 block of Belfield Avenue. The males, Thomas Robinson and Nicholas Kurtz, were attempting to conceal themselves on the porch of a residence. Both males were positively identified by Mr. Miller as the males involved in his assault. Robinson and Kurtz were taken into custody.
Arrested: Thomas Robinson, 39 year old male
Address: 6000 block of Hoover Avenue, Mays Landing, NJ
Charges: Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
Remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, Mays Landing, NJ. Bail set at $100,000.00.
Arrested: Nicholas Kurtz, 34 year old male
Address: Unit south block Tennessee Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ
Charges: Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
Remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, Mays Landing, NJ. Bail set at $100,000.00.
The investigation is assigned to Criminal Investigations Section Detective Innocenzo Visceglia.
