Accused:  Lian Hua Gao 51 year old female  7149 Montour St. Philadelphia PA,

On 11/29/15, the above accused was arrested for possession of a taser at the U-Sell Flea Market after an off duty Vineland Police Officer overheard her demonstrating the device for a customer. Gao had rented a table and was selling various items, including the taser, which at initial appearance appears to be a small aluminum led flashlight but when a switch is depressed, the front edge near the lens has the sparking. She stated she was unaware that it was illegal to have or sell the device in New Jersey. She was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Details:  On 11/29/2015, Julio Lugo reported a theft by deception. Lugo stated he placed a vehicle (92 Integra) for sale on Craigslist on 11/28/2015 for $2400.00. He was contacted via text from a male who said his name was John Williams and wanted to purchase it but Lugo needed to pay for the shipping of the vehicle, which would cost $776.00, through moneygram. Williams said he would pay Lugo through Paypal. Lugo agreed and sent the money through a money gram to the address provided: Gift Omoru Ektorps 2, Norrkoping Sweden 60355.  When Julio did not receive the money through Paypal, he texted him at which time "John Williams" told him he liked money and that he had no intention of purchasing the car.

On 11/29/2015, a forged $20.00 bill was passed at Walmart by an unknown subject. The paper on the $20.00 bill did not match that of government issued money and there were no security markers on the bill.  Also when the money was marked with a counterfeit detector pen, it indicated that the money was counterfeit.  The bill is marked with the serial number JD56447022C.

Accused:  Cherrita V Showell (Age 26) 4509 Gail Lane, Newfield NJ

The above accused was arrested for concealing several items of food and condiments, valued at $15.86, on her person and not paying for them.  She was processed on a summons complaint pending court. She was also processed on 3 outstanding warrants: warrant # S 2015 003425 $1,000.00 out of Vineland City; warrant # J 23058 $750.00 bail and warrant # J 11780 $500.00 both out of Franklin Twsp. Showell was held on bail on the above warrants and transported to Cumberland County Jail.

The above victim reported the theft of his NJ license plate from his 2007 Lincoln Mark LT Pickup, which had been parked in his driveway. The tag was entered as stolen in NCIC.

On November 30, 2015, Ronnie L. Davis was arrested by Camden County Police Department for  outstanding warrants and turned over to Vineland Police. Davis had four of them for contempt of Court out of Vineland Municipal Court.

Victim: Jamie Lugo, 2613 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361

Jamie Lugo reported sometime overnight, someone attempted to pry open the cap over the bed of his truck. On the driver’s side rear of the truck, the bed cover was bent causing a gap between the bed of the truck and the cap. It appeared as if the subject may have utilized a crow bar to attempt to open the cap to gain entry to the bed of the truck. As a result, the cap was bent and the side of the vehicle was scratched. Jamie estimated the cost of the bed cover at $600.00. Nothing was reported missing at this time. Jamie had three (3) other vehicles in his driveway which were not tampered with.

On 11/30/2015,  Nancy Ratcliffe advised that she was at Trinity Episcopal Church, from approximately 11:30am until 2:45pm and her purse was stolen. She indicated the purse was sitting on a chair in a library area of the church. Ratcliffe stated there were seven other people at the church while she was there but she didn't see any of them take the purse and she does not suspect any of them.  She stated that they were all together.  Reported stolen was a navy blue Coach purse valued at $600.00 which contained a brown wallet, unknown brand valued at $20.00, maroon credit card wallet of an unknown brand valued at $15.00, various credit cards, $200 cash, NJ Driver’s License, and insurance cards.

Felix H. Perez-Matias, the owner of Sierra Juarez Mexican Restaurant, said when he arrived at work this morning at approximately 7:45am, he walked to his van, a white 2000 Ford Econovan, which was parked on the west side of the property and noticed that the passenger side window of the cab had been smashed and the passenger door was ajar. He said he checked the vehicle and was unable to locate any items missing from inside of the vehicle. A landscaping rock was found nearby. Estimated value of damage to the van window is $50.00.

Mariel Rosario was arrested for shoplifting a universal usb charger from Walmart on 11/30/15. He provided a false name of Jose Delgado in an attempt to prevent his true identity of being learned. Rosario finally admitted he lied about the name, as he had warrants for his arrest. Rosario also had a small amount of marijuana on his person when arrested.  He was processed on summons complaints for shoplifting, possession of marijuana, and hindering own apprehension. Rosario was wanted on the following Warrants:

S-2015-001661 ( Offense: 2C:20-11B(2) ) with bail set at $1,001.00 - Vineland
