     Driver#1 stated that she was traveling east on W. Sherman Ave and had slowed down for traffic in front of her. Driver#1 said she was driving at a slow speed when suddenly she was struck in the rear by vehicle#2.

     Driver#2 stated that she was traveling east on W. Sherman Ave. and was looking down. Driver#2 would not specify why she was looking down. She said when she looked up, she noticed that she was approaching the rear of vehicle#1. Driver#2 said she saw that vehicle#1 was moving at a slow rate of speed and attempted to stop but was unable to prior to impact. 

     Investigation at the scene revealed that both vehicles were in the original position of rest after impact. Area of impact was determined by the position of both cars on the roadway and by the statement of both drivers. The collision occurred on W. Sherman Ave. near the Rt. 55 on ramps (north and south bound). Vehicle#1 was driving a slow rate of speed and was struck in the rear by vehicle#2. 

     Both drivers statement they were not injured by the accident. Driver#1 was written a subpoena. Driver#2 was issued a summons (VC008176) for Careless Driving.

Driver #1: Surendra Patel 74 of the 1700 block of S. Spring Road

Driver #2: June Ortiz 52 of the first block of Howard Street

Driver #1 stated he was traveling north on Spring Rd.  He stated he stopped at the 4-way intersection at Spring Rd. and Magnolia Rd.  He stated as he proceeded through the intersection vehicle #2 ran the stop sign and struck his vehicle.

Driver #2 stated she was traveling east on Magnolia Rd.  She stated she stopped at the intersection of Magnolia Rd. and Spring Rd.  She stated as she proceeded through the intersection vehicle #1 rolled through the stop sign and struck her vehicle.

Vehicle #1 sustained moderate damage to the front driver side wheel area of the vehicle.  Vehicle #2 sustained moderate damage to the front portion of the vehicle.

Due to the conflicting statements provided by bother drivers I was unable to determine who was at fault and as a result no summons were issued.

Driver #1: Secundino Rodriguez 50 of the 700 block of W. Earl Drive

Driver #2: Alice Poyntos 66 of Millville NJ

Driver #1 stated he was stopped for traffic in the inside southbound lane of N Delsea Dr, north of W Landis Ave. Driver #1 said he was stopped behind Vehicle #2 and several other vehicles and saw the traffic light change to green. He thought Vehicle #2 would start moving, so he started to accelerate. Vehicle #1 struck the rear end of Vehicle #2.

    Driver #2 stated she was stopped for traffic behind several other vehicles in the inside southbound lane of N Delsea Dr, north of W Landis Ave. Driver #2 said she felt her car jolt forward when Vehicle #1 rear ended her.

   Driver #1, Driver #2, and rear passenger of Vehicle #2 had no complaints of pain at this time and declined any medical evaluation or treatment. Front right passenger of Vehicle #2 complained of neck pain and was transported by Vineland EMS to Inspira Health Network.

    Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the front bumper of the vehicle. Vehicle #2 sustained minor damage to the rear bumper. Vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2 were driven from the scene.

    Driver #1 was issued a summons 0614-VC-008368 for Careless Driving (39:4-97).

    No witnesses were located at the scene.

Driver 1 stated she was backing out of her parking stall at Heritage, when she backed into Vehicle 2.  According to Driver 1, she did not see Vehicle 2 prior to backing out of her stall, which caused the collision.

Driver 2 stated he was pulling into a parking stall next to Vehicle 1, when Driver 1backed her vehicle up, causing the collision.

No injuries were reported by either driver.  Vehicle 1 was parked and left at the scene, due to the fact Driver 1 admitted to not having insurance on the vehicle and could not produce a valid insurance card.  Driver 1 was issued a Motor Vehicle Summons for No Insurance/39:6B-2, after to admitting to driving the vehicle to the store, prior to the collision.
