Driver #1: Daniel Trull 36 of the 1000 block of Clover Ave.

Dispatched to the area of Magnolia Road West of East Ave in regards to an overturned vehicle.  Upon arrival I observed the Driver of an overturned Ford Pickup Daniel Trull speaking with EMS.  Trull had crawled out of the vehicle prior to my arrival at the scene and appeared to be clutching his head as if he was in pain.  Trull was transported to Inspira by EMS at this time.

Examination of the scene revealed that a parked vehicle listed as vehicle #2 was struck by vehicle #1 causing it to flip.  Owner of vehicle #2 was notified of the collision at this time by Officer Garvey.

Looking in the window of vehicle #1 while it was overturned in an attempt to check for paperwork revealed a bottle of fireball which appears to have been partially consumed.  Fireball tagged and Placed in ID locker 59 t this time.  At this time Officer Fixler obtained a blood kit from the ID section for this Officer.  I then responded to Inspira Medical Center to obtain blood samples due to suspicion of DWI.

At Inspira I spoke with Driver #1 who stated he does not know what happened to cause the collision.  Driver #1 had the odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath.  I advised Driver #1 that he had the right to refuse to give a blood sample but I would like if would consent.  Driver #1 said sure you can take a blood sample then signed the consent form.  The wife of driver #1 Nicole Trull was present and signed as the witness on the form.  See DWI report for additional information.

Driver #1 issued the following summons, 0614-V-123701 for DWI 39:4-50, 0614-V-123702 for Reckless driving 39:4-96, and 0614-V-123703 for Open container 39:4-51a.

Driver #1: Gary Lotito 33 of Franklinville NJ

Driver #1 stated he was traveling west bound on East Sherman Avenue approaching South Main Road when he observed a deer standing in the roadway. Therefore, Driver #1 started to slow down his vehicle (#1) and go around it as he assumed it would run off. Driver #1 indicated as he passed the deer it started to head south bound but, suddenly changed direction and struck his vehicle at a right angle.

Driver #1 attempted to apply his brakes to avoid the deer but, it was not possible.  According to Driver #1, the deer struck the front driver side fender. After the deer struck the vehicle, it fled south bound and did not appear to be injured.

On scene, I checked the area for the struck deer but, the results were negative as it was not located.

Driver #1 did not have any complaint of pain.

Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage (dent) to the front driver side fender.

 No summons issued.
