The arrestees were charged as listed after Boscov’s Loss Prevention reported a shoplifting complaint with the following details: Demore and Decamp were observed concealing merchandise in bags they had brought into the store. They walked out of the store, at which time Demore put some her shoplifted merchandise into a car parked in the lot. Decamp gave the merchandise she had taken to Hoover. Hoover then turned the merchandise over to Victoria and Laxman Taylor. They in turn attempted to return the merchandise for a refund. Hoover began to conceal merchandise into a bag she had brought into the store. Hoover then left the store and went to the same car in the parking lot, where she, Decamp and Demore were detained.

At the time of her arrest, Victoria Taylor (Allen) had medication (CDS) in her possession without a prescription.  Laxmen Taylor and Demore had outstanding warrants for their arrest. A search of the vehicle in the parking lot turned up shoplifted merchandise that had been placed in it.  Loss Prevention employees reported that assorted clothing, with a total value of $969.00, had been taken during the incident.
