Sulaim Velez reported unknown person(s) entered her residence through an open bedroom window overnight while she had been asleep on her living room sofa. Velez stated she fell asleep on the living room couch at approximately 01:30am September 25, 2015. When she awoke at approximately 05:30am, she noticed her bedroom window was wide open. She then discovered that $400.00 cash was missing from a dresser, along with a brown wooden jewelry box that had miscellaneous pieces of jewelry valued at $100.00. Velez stated nothing else was missing from her bedroom.

On September 25, 2015, a resident from the above complex advised police that a black male had just removed a chair from her patio and placed it under her neighbor’s window. The caller’s husband then exited the residence and chased the subject out of the area. The subject was described as thin black male, 25 to 30 years old, medium complexion, full trimmed beard, 600 to 602, wearing a flat brimmed hat with a blue or black hoodie sweatshirt.
A green chair was found placed under a rear window of Apartment #B20. Both rear windows appeared to have been lifted by the accused. The victim, Wanda Otero, had been home at the time and did not hear anything.

On 26 September 2015, Boys and Girls Club President Shirley Santos reported unknown actor(s) spray painted on the west wall with the word “Lurker” with a set of eyeballs that resembled the cartoon character ‘Garfield’. The last time she was at the club was on 23 September 2015 at 21:00 hours and discovered the damage this morning at 08:00 hours. Damage estimated at under $500.00.

A fight between approximately 15 juveniles was reported in the area of 60 W Montrose St., however upon police arrival there was no active altercation. The victim, a 15 year old juvenile male, advised he was leaving the Vineland High School football game with a few of his friends when a group of unknown juveniles approached and began to assault him. He did not recognize any of the subjects. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for minor injuries to his mouth. A friend of the victim recognized the 16 year old juvenile male who assaulted the victim. The victim’s mother then signed a juvenile complaint against the accused for simple assault. The accused and his mother responded to police headquarters on 9-26-15. The accused was processed on the juvenile complaint and released back to his mother.

Liz Aponte reported that her boyfriend, Luis Negron, had his bicycle stolen while they were out to dinner on this date. Liz stated that the bicycle was in the backyard of the residence, unsecured. It was described as a Mongoose BMX style bicycle, white in color with black rims and a 80cc gas powered engine installed on the inner frame of the bike. Liz stated her boyfriend paid approximately $215.00 for the bike.

On 9-25-2015, a burglary was reported at 709 East Grape Street apartment# 2. The victim, Delora Garcia, stated she went to church at approximately 7:00 PM and returned to find her back door open at approximately 11:00 PM. Investigation revealed the bottom window pane on the door was smashed out with a large rock which was found on the floor. The actor(s) unlocked the door and made entry, where they went to a bedroom and stole money and jewelry. Reported stolen was $2000.00 cash; 5 gold necklaces, 5 pairs of gold earrings and 3 gold bracelets were stolen. Total value of theft is estimated at $5100.00.

Accused: Geeisha Ramos (24/W/ F) 2157 E Oak Rd, Vineland, NJ, 08360
On 9/25/15, a fight was reported at the above location. Upon officers arrival, Geeisha Ramos and Shameka Peraza were located at the scene with several lacerations to various parts of their bodies. Ramos and Peraza both claimed the other started the fight. Another victim, later identified as Velinda Ocasio, was located inside the residence of 840 E Peach St with minor cuts to her hand and ankle. From speaking with the victims and other subjects in the area, it was determined that Geeisha Ramos was the aggressor in the fight and used a box cutter to assault the victims. The boxcutter was recovered from the vehicle that Ramos drove to the scene. All three subjects had minor injuries. Ramos and Peraza were transported to Inspira Health Network (IHN) for their injuries, Ocasio declined medical treatment.
The following Warrants/Summons were signed against Geeisha Ramos for the assault on Peraza:
Warrant# W-2015-003265 for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Bail set at $30,000.000 / 10% / Blanket Bail. Summons # S-2015-003266 for 2C:12-5D – Unlawful Possession of a weapon.
The following complaints were signed against Ramos in regard to Velinda Ocasio: summmons# S-2015-003267 - Simple Assault; Summons# S-2015-003268 - Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Summons# S-2015-003269 – Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Geeisha Ramos was held on bail and turned over to Cumberland County Jail.

Both vehicles had been parked in the driveway.
