 Homicide Unit Investigation

On September 18, 2015, at approximately 0256 hours, District 2 officers responded to investigate a report of a person shot at the intersection of Corbly and Salvador Streets.  First responders located the victim at the intersection and transported him to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The Homicide Unit responded to investigate the death.

The victim has been identified as Adam Stephens, a white male born 12/2/1983

*****UPDATE*****

On September 18, 2015, the Homicide Unit investigation identified a suspect responsible for the death of Adam Stephens.  With assistance from the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Nakai Yearby, a female black 17 years of age, was located and arrested.  Miss Yearby was charged with one count of Murder.  The Homicide Unit investigation is ongoing.
