On Friday August 21, 2015 at 10am twenty two individuals were sworn in as Police Officers by Mayor Don Guardian. The swearing in ceremony was held at the Atlantic County Building located in the 1300 block of Atlantic Avenue. Nine of the candidates are currently Special Law Enforcement Officers who shall attend the Police Academy on a part-time basis on selected dates to satisfy their training requirements as set by the State of New Jersey Police Training Commission.

There are two full trained Police Officers in the group.  Officer Ryan J. Kov, who previously worked for Ventnor City Police Department and Officer Daniel H. Kramer, who previously worked for Camden County Police Department. Officer Kov and Officer Kramer shall receive Atlantic City Police Agency Training and shall then be assigned to the patrol division.

The Special Law Enforcement Officers shall attend the Atlantic County Police Training Center on a part time basis:

Officer Robert J. Reynolds Jr., Officer Daniel P. Arra, Officer Michael A. Gunsser, Officer Valmir Loga, Officer Christian V. Ivanov, Officer S. Jeffrey Hannon, Officer Bryan D. O'Neill, Officer Jesse Oliver-Logan, and Officer Eric R. O'Neill-Knuttel.   

These police recruits shall attend the Atlantic County Police Training Center on a full time basis:

Ryan C. Mullin, John P. Sharkey III, Thomas C. Gilardi and Tyler J. Dailey. The anticipated graduation date is in early February 2016.

These police recruits shall attend the Cape May County Police Training Center on a full time basis:

James Andros IV, Corey S. Treadway, Auttika Taing, Ebonyse J. Fauntleroy, Marina R. Martin, Fariyd Holmes and Sean P. Pettit. The anticipated graduation date is the last week in January 2016.
