The victim found property from his vehicle’s center console and glove box strewn about inside his vehicle. There was no theft noted at this time.
Case # 15-40504 Location: 7 West Landis Avenue (Rite Aid) Incident Date & Time: 07/14/2015 01:57 Incident type: Shoplifting Officer: Ptl. R. Watkins #9085 Victim: Rite Aid Accused: Black male, approximately 35-40 years old, 5-07 to 5-09, average build, wearing a camouflage shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a camouflage baseball hat with a black brim. The hat also appeared to have a sticker on the brim. The suspect left the store and entered a vehicle. The vehicle was described as a silver sedan, possibly 4 door. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male with dirty blonde hair.
The suspect took deodorant and soap valued at $50.00 from the store, after placing it in a blue plastic bag.

Arrest Disposition: Held on Bail
Cheston was arrested for shoplifting $350.46 worth of merchandise from Walmart. She had her 11 year old child assisting her with the shoplifting. No charges were filed against the juvenile. Shortly after her arrest, officers noticed that Cheston had put what was believed to have been some type of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) in her mouth. She refused to spit the suspected CDS out, and swallowed it to prevent recovery.
Cheston had initially identified herself to police as Viamy L. Thomas and also presented identification in that name. When officers investigated further, they found Thomas was the victim of identity theft in Lawrence Township NJ. Once positively identified, several outstanding arrest warrants were found for Cheston.
