At about 0900hrs this morning SHPD respond to the 43000 block of Polo Circle on a welfare check/sound of shots fired complaint. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant(an adult female) who advised she heard a gunshot within her apartment, saw her father lying on the ground and fled to call police. Officers checked the interior of the apartment and found a 44yr old male and 44yr old female husband and wife with apparently fresh gun shot wounds to their heads. The weapon believed to be used was recovered from the scene.

   SHPD was out to this address previously on 05/21/15 where the deceased male subject was arrested for domestic violence against his wife. The conditions of bond set in that case  included a no contact order. SHPD continues to investigate, however at this point the incident appears to be a murder/suicide.
