Homicide Unit Investigation

On March 16, 2015, at 2128 hours, Cincinnati Police District Three police officers responded to the 3300 block of Epworth Avenue for a report of a person shot.  Officers located a victim in the street.  He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he died from his injuries. 

The victim was identified as Eric Scroggins, 23 years of age. 

*UPDATE*  

On April 9, 2015, Homicide Unit Detectives arrested Luther Drake charged with Murder for causing the death of Eric Scroggins.  Mr. Drake is a black male born 11/19/1996.
