On March 22, 2015, at 1:30 p.m., District Three police officers responded to the intersection of Moosewood Avenue and Beekman Street for the report of shooting.  Upon arrival, officers located a female victim inside a vehicle at this location suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported by fire personnel to University Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.  The victim has been identified as Adaezia Flowers, 20 years of age.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit signed a Murder warrant on Michael Duett, a male 30 years of age, for the death of Adaezia Flowers.  A short time later, the Fugitive Apprehension Unit apprehended Duett on his outstanding warrant.
