On 2/27/2015, a robbery was reported by a pizza delivery driver from Dominick's Pizza (1768 S. Lincoln Ave.). The driver was on Jay Ter when a male subject yelled "Hey pizza guy!" and walked up to the vehicle while the vehicle was stopped. The subject, a male wearing dark clothing, a dark sweatshirt with the hood up, black neoprene mask and was holding a black handgun. The male demanded the money and the driver quickly pulled away from the male. The delivery driver was uninjured and the actor(s) did not get any money.

Eloy Hernandez reported that he was assaulted in the parking lot of the Oak Tavern for no reason by an unknown male. Hernandez stated that the male subject never said anything to him but struck him on the right side of the face. The subject then took off running. Hernandez described the actor as a white or Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 6’0 180 LBS with a thick beard. Hernandez suffered minor injuries.

On 2/26/2015, employees from Aaron's Rentals reported that an unknown white male stole a laptop computer from their business. He walked into the store and began looking at the laptop computers then asked if he could look at one that was locked with a cable and key lock. The employee unlocked the laptop computer and was called over to the register area by another employee. They then noticed that the white male walked out of the store and the laptop was missing. The subject was stopped outside in the area by an employee but it appeared that he didn’t have the laptop on him. He then continued walking Northeast away from the store. The white male subject was in his late 20's to early 30's, approx 507-509, 150-170 pounds, glasses with no facial hair. Reported stolen was a black Hewlett Packard model # HP15-D079NR laptop computer with a 15.6 inch touch screen monitor valued at $ 1044.99.
