Details:

On February 28th, 2015 at approximately 0232 hours, Officers from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to a disturbance at 934 NE 11th Street. Danitra R. Brown called and reported her boyfriend; Nathaniel Holleman had choked her and assaulted her in front of their children. Brown also reported she had stabbed Holleman earlier in the day, during a separate incident. Officers located Holleman and confirmed he had an approximately 1” laceration on his back. Holleman reported Brown had stabbed him earlier in the day during an argument. Both parties were interviewed regarding the incident and Holleman was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Based on the interviews and physical evidence at the scene, Danitra Brown was taken into custody for Assault 2 and lodged at the Josephine County Jail. The charges of Assault 4 and strangulation will be referred to the District Attorney on Holleman. DHS responded and took custody of the two minor children in the residence.
