On Saturday, 1/3/15, the above victim reported an unknown actor threw a rock through a window at his residence. He found a large rock in the middle of the room and broken glass on the floor. He valued the window at $150.00.

Crime: Identity Theft / Wrongful Impersonation

Details:  On 1-3-2015, Charles Emeigh was advised by Verizon that an unknown person used his identity to upgrade to an IPhone 6 and an IPad in New York, NY at the end of November of 2014. He was then contacted by BestBuy who advised him that someone had opened a BestBuy credit card in his name in New York City. Verizon and Bestbuy closed the accounts. Charles was then entered into NCIC as an Identity Theft victim.

On January 2nd, 2015, the above victim advised that she was assaulted at the Cosmopolitan after celebrating New Years Eve. She and her friends were leaving and walking towards their vehicle, when they were involved in an altercation with another group of subjects. She stated a black female struck her in the left side of her head with a closed fist, knocked her to the ground, and kicked her in her right rib area. The female and other subjects then quickly left the area. Leyva sustained only minor injuries.

On 01/03/2015, Steven August reported he observed a small bullet hole near the passenger side taillight on the cargo hatch to his vehicle, a 2000 Subaru Legacy. He then noticed a spent bullet on the floor of the cargo area of his vehicle. August had no further information pertaining to where or when the incident occurred and who is responsible. August said for the past few days he has driven to several local businesses in Vineland and his vehicle has been parked in the driveway of his residence (1623 East Walnut Road) when he was not using it.

Details:  Yuriy Kovch stated an unknown person broke his rear first floor window, causing approximately $150.00 in damage.

On Saturday, January 03, 2015, Maria Oria advised unknown actor(s) had broken into the above location and removed copper piping from the basement. Oria stated there was a fire at the residence on 08/13/13. A plastic tarp had been placed on the roof/attic area after the fire, was found torn open with a large hole. It was estimated that 30 feet of copper piping was taken, valued at approximately $50.00.

Accused:  Wilbor Doss, 44, 108 S 4th S #2, Vineland NJ 08360

Wilbor Doss was arrested for shoplifting two bottles of perfume valued at $34.98 from the CVS store.Doss was processed on a summons complaint for shoplifting. A ‘crack pipe’ was also located on his person and he was charged with drug paraphernalia. Doss had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Vineland Municipal Court # 0614 S2014 004115 ($550.00 bail). After being processed on the above warrant, Doss was transported to the Cumberland County Jail in lieu of $550.00 bail.

Tania C. Reyes-Mexicano reported an unknown actor broke a window to her vehicle, a red Chevy, which had been parked in the rear of her property. Nothing was taken from her vehicle. Damage estimated to be approximately $125.00.

Crime: Theft of a Motor Vehicle

Victim: Pagan, Matthew

Suspect: Unknown

Location: 2871 London Lane

On 3 January 2015, Matthew Pagan reported his 2000 Chevy Blazer had been stolen from the driveway to his residence between 18:00 and 21:00 hours. Pagan indicated the vehicle was left unsecured and could be started without a key. It was valued at approximately $1,500.00. During the investigation, the vehicle was located on Route 55 Northbound at mile marker 38 by NJ State Police a short time after the theft was reported. It appeared the vehicle had broken down and no one was in the vehicle at the time.

On 01/04/2015, CVS reported that a Hispanic or white male fled the store with 6 packages of Duracell batteries valued at $9.49 each while store employees were busy with other tasks.

Victim:  Capital Bank  175 S. Main Rd. Vineland NJ

Accused:  Unknown

A burglary was reported at the above location to an abandoned house. Neighbors reported seeing the front door wide open and the residence was searched for any suspects with negative results. While searching the residence, the basement was discovered to have been flooded with water from a pipe which most likely had been cut by the actors. The point of entry was determined to have been a back door to the residence. Vineland Electric Utility and the City of Vineland Water Department responded to turn off utilities.
