Thursday, December 25, 2014 I responded to Lincoln Avenue just south of Dante Avenue for a report of a crash involving one vehicle and a deer. Upon arriving, I spoke with driver one who explained that she was traveling north on Lincoln Avenue approaching Dante. Driver one said that a large deer suddenly ran out of the woods, from her left side and in front of her vehicle. Driver one explained that she was not able to avoid hitting the deer.
The deer was found deceased on the front lawn of Cumberland Veterinary Hospital located on South Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle one sustained damage to the front end and was driven from the scene by the driver.
No summonses were issued in this case.

Dispatched to the area of S. Delsea Dr. near College Dr. for a minor collision. Upon my arrival, I spoke with Driver #1, who related the following about the incident. Driver #1 stated that he was heading south bound on S. Delsea Dr, originally in the lane closest to the curb. He stated that he noticed vehicle #2, waiting for traffic to clear, at the exit driveway for 800 College Dr. Driver #1 stated that he decided to change lanes, to the lane farthest from the curb, because he felt as if vehicle #2 might come out of the driveway in front of him. He stated that as he changed lanes, he observed vehicle #2 now entering the highway from the driveway, and vehicle #2 struck him on his passenger side rear of the vehicle. Driver #1 stated that he was at the exit for 800 College Dr., waiting for traffic to clear, so he could make a left to head north bound on S. Delsea Dr. He stated that he observed two vehicles heading south bound on S. Delsea Dr., and waited for that vehicle to clear, before he started out into the roadway. He stated that when he thought the roadway was clear, he started to pull out onto S. Delsea Dr., when he realized that vehicle #1 was coming south bound, and he struck vehicle #1. Both drivers indicated that they were not hurt and did not need EMS to respond to the scene. Vehicle #1 sustained moderate damage to the passenger side rear, of the vehicle. Vehicle #2 sustained heavy damage to the front of the vehicle. Driver #2 was issued the following summons: 0614-VC-003431, 39:4-66.1, Failure to yield to vehicles while entering highway

Driver: Lawrence Fowler 24 of the 1300 block of Adams Ave. Vineland NJ
Driver ( Lawrence Fowler Jr) indicated he was making a left turn onto Adams Avenue off of Main Road on December 26 at approximately 04:00 A.M. after coming home from his girlfriend’s house. "I took the turn too wide striking a speed limit sign, as I corrected my steering, by turning the wheel to the left, my truck went across the roadway and struck a telephone pole in front of 100 North Main Road, Capizola Pancari Attorneys at Law. After the collision, I waited for the Police to arrive, after several minutes of waiting I drove my truck home, which is right next door. Fowler added I kept looking out the window waiting for the Police Department to arrive but no one ever responded. I asked Fowler why didn't he call this Department to report the collision himself, he stated, "I believed someone must have called it made a loud noise, I was too upset to think, I just bought this truck for four thousand dollars". Investigation on scene revealed Fowler truck left the roadway on the North side of Adams Avenue striking a speed limit sign. After striking the speed limit sign Fowler's truck crossed Adams Avenue striking telephone pole B-ED-3231 coming to rest. Fowler then back up his truck and parked his truck in his yard 1397 Adams Avenue which is next door to 100 North Main Road, Capizola Pancari Attorney's at law. It should be noted this Department was called to Fowler's residence in regards to a domestic dispute (case (2014-70812) Fowler was having argument with is sister over reporting the collision. Fowler indicated he was calling this Department to report the collision however he wasn't calling fast enough according to his sister. Fowler indicated he was not hurt during the collision. Fowler truck had extension front end damage from strucking the telephone pole. Fowler was issued two summonses, Careless and leaving the scene of the accident. Vineland Electric responded to the scene and inspected the telephone pole. Vineland Road Department was advised the speed limit sign was knocked down during the collision.

Driver # 1 stated she was backing from a parking stall using her vehicle's rear-facing camera system. She stated she did not see Vehicle # 2 and crashed into it causing very minor damage. Driver # 2 stated he was backing from a parking stall and was struck by Vehicle # 1 which caused very minor damage.
Driver #2 was issued a summons for unregistered vehicle.

Driver #1 stated she was traveling east on Adams Ave. when she came upon construction where the Vineland Electric Utility had the south side of the roadway coned off due to a truck being in the roadway. Driver #1 related she stopped, saw that it was clear to pass through, and proceeded past the construction (on the north side of the roadway). Driver #1 further related as she proceeded through, she observed a speed sign down in the roadway. Driver #1 said she maneuvered around the sign and continued traveling east on Adams at which time she collided with the speed sign post. Driver #1 informed me she never saw the speed sign post prior to the collision. Driver #1 advised she was not injured and refused medical treatment at the scene. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the front of the vehicle and undercarriage. Vehicle #1 was privately towed. I attempted to speak with Vineland Electric employees on scene. None of the workers observed the incident. The Road Department was notified about the speed sign. No summons was issued at the time.

Driver # 1 stated she was south on Delsea Drive when vehicle # 2 stopped abruptly in front of her and she crashed into it. Driver # 2 stated she was stopped in traffic for the red light at Delsea Drive/Chestnut Avenue when vehicle # 1 crashed into her vehicle from behind.
Driver #1 was cited for carless driving.
