Driver #1: Faith Sutton-Rivera 56 of the 1000 block of Sharp Road Vineland NJ

Driver #2: Ella Brown 68 of Pittsgrove NJ

Driver #1 stated she reversed from a parking stall at Walmart when she collided with Driver #2 which was stopped directly behind her in traffic. Driver #1 stated that she was unaware that Driver #2 was behind her until the last moment and she was unable to avoid colliding with her vehicle. Driver #1 claimed no injuries at the scene. Her vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear bumper.

Driver #2 stated that she was stopped in the parking isle of Walmart behind Driver #1 waiting for a vehicle to exit a parking stall when Driver #1 backed into her vehicle. Driver #2 claimed no injuries at the scene. Her vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear driver side panel.

No tows were needed at the scene. No summons was issued.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Location: 1155 South Delsea Drive, Vineland, Enterprise Leasing Co.

Date: December 24, 2014, at 12:01PM

 

On December 24, 2014, at approximately 12:10PM I was dispatched to 1155 South Delsea Drive, Vineland, Enterprise Leasing Co., for a two vehicle collision on the lot, no reported injuries.

Driver #1 stated he drove into the Enterprise parking lot and parked in front of the building as it was raining. He stated when he exited the building it was pouring rain and he ran and entered his vehicle. He stated his view was obstructed by the pouring rain and started to back up as he has done in the past. He stated he backed into a parked vehicle #2. Driver #1 stated vehicle #2 was not parked behind him when he initially exited his vehicle, as he did not park in a parking stall.

 

I observed minor damage to vehicle #1’s rear driver’s side bumper. Driver #1 claimed to have no injuries. I observed parked vehicle #2 not parked in a parking stall and backed in towards vehicle #1. Occupant #2, Elaine Esteron, stated she was sitting in the drivers’ seat at the time of the collision and the vehicle was in park and shut off. Esteron claimed to have no injuries.

 

Point of impact was approximately 140’ feet east of the east curb line of South Delsea Drive. Point of impact was determined by position of vehicles at the scene.

Driver #1: Donna Wobensmith 50 of Newport NJ

Driver #2: Michelle Andrews 48 of Millville NJ

Driver #1 stated that she was traveling North on Delsea Dr. when Driver #2 who was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway facing South bound made a left hand turn in front of her. As result, Driver #1 stated that she collided with the front driver side panel causing minor damage. Driver #1 claims that Driver #2 was at fault for the collision because she made a left hand from the shoulder of the roadway. She stated that she was not stopped in the lane of S Delsea Dr.

Driver #2 stated she was stopped in traffic on S Delsea Dr. facing South bound with her left turn signal on in an effort to make a left hand turn into the parking lot of the National Guard Armory. She stated attempted to make this turn, Driver #1 passed her on the left hand. As a result, Driver #2 stated that Driver #1 collided with the front driver side of the panel of her vehicle causing minor damage. Driver #2 noted that the area Driver #1 passed was a no passing lane.

At the scene, I was unable to locate any visible evidence which would determine who caused the collision. I advised both parties that I was completing a report documenting the incident and their statements. All parties claimed no injuries and refused medical attention.

No Summons was issued.

Driver #1: Sullymar Rodriguez 22 of the 800 block of Pear Street Vineland NJ

Driver #2: Gonzalo Sola 79 of the 700 block of Pear Street Vineland NJ

 

On scene, I spoke with Driver 1 who stated she was behind Vehicle 2 and following him since East Pear Street. She noted Driver 2 would not activate his turn signal while making turns. She said as she was traveling southbound on North 6th Street and approaching the intersection with East Wood Street, Vehicle 2 did not have a turn signal on. Driver 1 assumed Vehicle 2 was going to continue southbound on 6th Street so she decided to go to the right of his Vehicle 2 as her intentions were to make a right turn onto Wood Street. Driver 1 said while attempting to go to the right of Vehicle 2, she struck it as it suddenly made a right turn in front of her Vehicle 1. Driver 1 did not complain of any injuries at the time of the crash. Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the left side front. The vehicle was later driven away by Driver 1.

Driver 2 on scene stated he was traveling southbound on 6th Street towards East Wood Street. He stated his intentions were to travel westbound on East Wood Street when he began to make the right turn. Driver 2 stated when he began to make the turn suddenly his Vehicle 2 was struck by Vehicle 1. I asked Driver 2 if he ever activated the vehicle's right turn signal at which time he related he did not. Driver 2 or its occupant complained of any injuries at the time of the crash. Vehicle 2 sustained damage to the right side rear passenger quarter panel and was later driven from the scene by Driver 2.


No summonses were issued at this time and both drivers were advised of their complaint options at the Vineland Municipal Court.

Driver #2: Shkeer Milbourne 35 of the 2000 block of Medina Street Vineland NJ

Driver # 1 stated at the scene she was traveling south on S. Lincoln Avenue. She said as she approached the intersection of S. Lincoln and Palermo Avenue she observed vehicle # 1 making a left hand turn onto Palermo Avenue from S. Lincoln Avenue. Driver # 1 said she applied her breaks but her vehicle slid, striking the rear of vehicle # 2. Driver # 1 advised me that she may have been going a little to fast for the road conditions. I observed severe damage to the rear portion of vehicle # 2. Vehicle # 1 suffered moderate damage the front portion.

Driver # 2 said she was waiting as traffic passed so she could make a left hand turn onto Palermo Avenue. She said while waiting she was struck in the rear by vehicle # 1.

Both drivers refused EMS at the scene.

Driver # 1 was issued summons # 0614-V-122880 for careless driving. A subpoena was generated for vehicle # 2.

Driver #2: Jose Rivera 24 of the 800 block of Cherry Street Vineland NJ

Driver # 1 fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Driver # 2 stated he was west on Cherry Street going around stopped Vehicle # 1 and as he was just past Vehicle # 1 the driver accelerated and crashed into the rear of his vehicle. Driver # 2 stated he and his passenger exited the vehicle to approach Driver # 1 however the vehicle quickly backed up and fled south on 4th Street from Cherry Street. Driver # 2 and his passenger described Vehicle # 1 as a black pick-up truck, possibly a Ford, that fled south on 4th Street. They stated they couldn't see the driver but believed the vehicle had a rear tinted window.

Driver #2: Louis Tolotti 20 of the 4900 block of Trento Ave. Vineland NJ

Driver 1 stated that he was traveling east on E Chestnut Ave when vehicle 2 struck his vehicle from the passenger side. He stated that he had a green light and he proceeded to go straight, when vehicle 2 ran the red light and struck him. Damage to vehicle 1 was on the passenger side along with the deployment of the passenger side airbags. Vehicle 1 was towed by Larcher’s Towing. Driver 1 had no complaints of pain at this time.

Driver 2 stated that he was traveling north on S Valley Ave. He stated that he did not notice that the light had turned red until he got to the intersection at E Chestnut Ave. He applied his brakes as soon as he noticed the red light, but his car skid on the wet roadway causing him to strike vehicle 1. Damage to vehicle 2 was on the front bumper area along with the deployment of the front airbags. Vehicle 2 was towed by Goodfellas Towing. Driver 2 had no complaint of pain at this time.


The front seat passenger of vehicle 1 had complaint of neck pain. Vineland EMS responded on scene and the front seat passenger of vehicle 1 declined medical treatment at this time.


John Powens, stated that he was directly behind vehicle 1 when the collision occurred. He stated that vehicle 2 ran the red light and struck vehicle 1.


Daniel Krolikowski, stated that he was traveling south on S Valley Ave when he observed the collision. He stated it looked like vehicle 2 ran the red light causing him to strike vehicle 1.


Driver 2 was issued a Summons # 0614-VC-001152 for reckless driving. Driver 1 and both witnesses were given a subpoena for the set court date.

Driver #1 stated he was traveling west on W. Wheat Rd. when he struck a tire that was in the west bound lane. Driver #1 indicated after colliding with the tire, he lost control of his vehicle, and drove into the open field on the north side of the road.

All subjects involved in the collision advised they were not injured and refused medical treatment.

Vehicle #1 received damage to the front of the vehicle and was privately towed.

The tire was removed from the roadway after the incident.

No summons was issued at the time.

Driver #2: Luis Velez 19 of the 400 block of S. Sixth Street Vineland NJ

Driver 1 stated that he was traveling west on Hennis Rd when he struck vehicle 2 that was directly in front of him. He struck vehicle 2 from behind. He stated that he did not notice that vehicle 2 had stopped, thinking that it would have continued. Damage to vehicle 1 was on the front bumper area. Driver 1 claimed no injuries at this time.

Driver 2 stated that he was also traveling west on Hennis Rd, attempting to make a right turn onto S Delsea Dr. He had stopped at the intersection and was waiting for the opportunity to make the right turn when vehicle 1 struck him from behind. Damage to vehicle 2 was on the rear bumper area. Driver 2 claimed no injuries at this time.


Driver 1 was issued Summons 0614-VC-001153 for Unlicensed and 0614-VC-001154 for Careless. Driver 2 was issued a subpoena for the set court date.

Location: Main Road and Elmer Road

Driver #1: Javon Porter 23 of the 900 block of Karls Road Vineland NJ

Driver #2: Guiseppe Sciolis 51 of the 700 block of S. State Street Vineland NJ

On this date, December 25, 2014, I was dispatched to the intersection of South Main Road and East Elmer Road, in regards to a motor vehicle crash. I arrived on scene, and observed Sgt. S. Harris and Vineland EMS on scene tending to the drivers. Both vehicles were pulled to the west side of the roadway facing south bound on Main Road.

I met with the two drivers and the following statements were made. Driver # 1 stated he was traveling south on Main Road behind vehicle # 2, and observed vehicle # 2 attempting to make a left turn onto Elmer Road. Driver # 1 stated he attempted to pass vehicle # 2 on the right but his steering wheel locked up, and he wasn't able to avoid striking vehicle # 2 in the back.

Driver # 2 indicated he was stopped on Main Road facing south bound, waiting to make a left turn on Elmer Road, when he was struck from behind by vehicle # 1.

Driver # 1 appeared to be dizzy and breathing heavy. He was treated by Vineland EMS and transported to the Inspira Health Network for further treatment. Driver # 2 indicated he was sore as a result of the crash, but refused medical treatment.

I then spoke with Theresa Roach and she related she witnessed the crash. Ms. Roach indicated she was traveling south on Main Road behind vehicle # 1. She stated she observed vehicle # 2 move to close to the yellow line with his left turn signal on. She stated vehicle # 1 approached vehicle # 2, and she heard driver # 1 apply his brakes, and swerved into the passenger rear of vehicle # 2.

Vehicle # 1 sustained extensive front end damage on the driver's side and was towed from the scene by Rulyn's Garage. Vehicle # 2 sustained minor damage to the passenger rear portion of the bumper/undercarriage, but was able to be driven from the scene.

Driver # 1 was issued summons 0614-E14-2086 for Careless Driving with a court date set for January 5, 2015 at the Vineland Municipal Court at 9:00am. Both Driver # 2 and Ms. Roach will be subpoenaed to appear in court to testify as to what occurred, in the event driver # 1 pleads not guilty.
